Reverse Vendor Trade Fair demonstrates UO is “open for business”

The third UO Reverse Vendor Trade Fair took place February 27 at the Club Room at Autzen Stadium. The event, organized by UO Purchasing and Contracting Services, provides an opportunity for minority, women owned, emerging small business contractors and other vendors to learn about contracting opportunities with the UO and other public agencies. Hundreds of area vendor representatives heard remarks by VP for Finance and Administration Jamie Moffitt and Director of Capital Construction Darin Dehle and met with more than 50 representatives from UO departments and other government agencies.

The fair reflects UO’s dedication to creating equal opportunity for under-represented communities and advancing diversity within a welcoming and inclusive community. This year event organizers designed the event with a focus on sustainability and green purchasing and contracting.
