The Oregon Senate approved the Governor’s appointments to the University of Oregon’s first Board of Trustees on November 21.  The appointees, include UO alumni, friends, faculty and staff members, and a student.  Biographies of the new members of the Board of Trustees are available on the university's Board of Trustees website.

The Legislature voted before adjourning in July to approve Senate Bill 270, which established institutional boards of trustees for the UO, Portland State University, and Oregon State University.
