Tina Guldberg, UO Assistant Vice President, Economic Development and Strategic Relations, has joined the UO Government and Community Relations team.
Gulberg, who has worked at the UO since September 2018, leads and facilitates UO’s role in economic development and strategic relations through identification, engagement, and execution of strategic partnerships, and educational partnerships with companies, economic and business community engagement organizations, corporate foundations, and government groups. In this capacity, she provides leadership for translation of university objectives into impact-focused partnership opportunities that align with university, state, and federal priorities.
She currently serves on the board of directors for the Oregon Bioscience Association, Sacred Heart Peace Health Foundation, and Greater Portland, Inc. as chair of the Higher Education Consortium. She also serves on the advisory committee for the Eugene Airport. Past service includes the Technology Association of Oregon Advisory Board for the Southern Willamette Valley and Inaugural Board of Directors Chair for Onward Eugene.
Before coming to the UO, Guldberg worked at Ford Motor Company as a product development engineer, served as a research engineer in the Sustainable Design and Manufacturing program at Georgia Tech, and was the associate director of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute, at which she spent 15 years developing strategic partnerships for the Institute.
Guldberg earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
