University of Oregon students, faculty, and staff and their families took part in the Eugene Celebration Parade on August 25. Participants got up early on a Saturday morning and braved the parade crowds to wear yellow t-shirts, carry signs, and wave to the many spectators along the route. The UO’s walking entry featured President Michael Gottfredson, the always entertaining Duck, and more than 40 faculty, staff, students, and families.
