Issue Briefs-Higher Education Governance
The leadership team of the University of Oregon has created the following issue briefs to serve as a tool for policy makers considering higher education governance changes. Currently, the Oregon Legislature is discussing two bills related to governance: Senate Bill 270 establishes institutional boards for public universities in the Oregon University System and House Bill 3120 restructures Oregon’s system of public higher education.
